My original purpose in starting this blog was to cover the history of Al Quds (Jerusalem) and Palestine generally in chronological order. After covering the historical background I intended to move onto recent history and then continue the blog with updates about the current situation.
However, in reality the process of writing the blog is a long one and unfortunately while I am still covering the early topic of the history of prophethood in Palestine, disturbing events are continually unfolding in the area today as Israel continues its occupation of the Palestinian people.
For this reason I have decided to start covering current events on this page simultaneously, while I continue narrating the historical story on the main 'home' page. I will do this by posting links to news stories regarding Palestine on this page as I find them, inshaAllah.
